In 1950s Nepal showed interest to become part of India. Then Nehru did not accept. Now there is only one road to go to north east states from other parts of India , if this road is blocked we loose connections with those states. There is a big security problem. If Nepal is a part of India , then we can overcome this problem.
Similarly .. during war with Pak America threatened us by saying that it will move its forces to Srilanka. If Srilanka was apart of India then we would not have faced this problem. By making Srilanka part of India we can have more right and power on the waters of Indian Ocean. We can make our Navy strong. This is also a solution to Srilanka LTTE problem. If it becomes part of India , Lanka be divided into two states like UP, MP , Bihar etc for Lankans and Tamils , problem can be solved. ( Vivekananda kissed the motherland after returning from west with love. that land is Colombo of Srilanka).
For all the problems of India directly or indirectly Nehru was responsible. I don't know why Nehru did not negotiate with Srilanka, Nepal, Sikkim, Burma and Bhutan to become part of India?[ all these were part of India] Patel discussed with 540 princelys to become part of India.
Nehru did not show interest in making Goa , a part of India he took more than 10 years to act in that direction of getting Goa , that also after a big pressure. The most unfortunate thing is Nehru did not try to bring those parts of India to make part of India where Congress did
