Our politicians are of the squabbling type -elected by people who are also of the squabbling type. 1.China is not as "free" or as "powerful" to "take care of India in two weeks"!! Thanks for your encouraging outlook. But you are WRONG. No power on earth can "take care of India" - whether positively or negatively. Only Indians like you and me can "take care of India" either to help it or hinder it. China is NOT free to launch large-scale military operations against India. It is now a "responsible" power. Already, ordinary Western people are against China over Tibet. You know what happened to the Olympic Torch. 2. India has learnt a few lessons since 1962. Has more "mountain divisions" to move quickly into position. Do not underestimate the "fighting traditions" of the Indian army. Have you ever served in the NCC or in the army? Do you know the battle history of the Indian army? Even in 1962, Chinese casualties were high after the first week or so of the attack. It was not such a complete defeat for India as had been portrayed. 3. There is NOT at present such a lot of difference between the Chinese and Indian Air Force equipment. 4. China is better organised in certain ways. But it is not as formidable as you think. They are humans like us but living under a different political system. They are more skilled in some ways. But we are improving, learning from them.
