Congress Party IGNORED education sector
by Kris iyer on Jul 04, 2008 12:00 PM

Most of the rot / problems in India can be traced to the omissions of the Congress Party which ruled free India for the first 50 years in Delhi and in almost all states.
1) Congress party has been more "elitist" than people realise. Their heart was NEVER into genuine socialism - a point Jayaprakash Narain and Rajaji - from different parts of the political spectrum made in the 1960s.
2) Congress never paid serious attention to running a good education sector at the elementary and secondary levels.
3) Now, the UPA is out to destroy the quality of private education also. "Our govt., schools even the poorest laugh at BUT we the UPA govt., will make sure that everyone will laugh at your private schools also."
4) Congress, and its allies like the DMK, have ensured that MERIT as a principle of human endeavour is ERADICATED from India's educational system and also government services. CASTE IS THE ONLY REALITY IN INDIA for Congress, DMK, SP, RJD (Yadav parties!!) and the Commies.

Congress has adopted a "dog in the manger" attitude over education. No wonder, more and more students from India are going abroad. That number will increase in the coming years. Why? Because IITs and IIMs will lose out due to all the "vote bank" politicking by the Congress.
Even for first degree Indian students will have to go abroad.
But who knows, Congress may also impose a quota on the students going abroad. 27% of those have to be from OBC castes!! Fools have all the strangest of ideas.
