Fractured mandate is against the true spirit of democracy. It ensures a weak govt. formed by a coalition with different ideologies which ultimately ruin the efficiency and smooth governance.
In J & K, PDP is pro-pak and pro-muslims. It withdrew support from the coalition govt. It ignited the fire of protest against allotment. Ultimately Cong. had to revoke allotment.
