what is jaziya tax? non muslims can be exempt from military under muslim rule if they pay tax which is depending upon the persons economic limitations. provides social benefits to non muslims during emergency, famine, earthquake etc. treats non muslims as equal with muslims who are required to mandatory pay zakat, sadaqah . zakat is 2.5% tax on muslims only wealth on livestock, business, gold, silver and other business commodities where muslims have to pay the tax otherwise, they will be punished under sharia law. so my dear hindu friend, hindus were better off paying a small jaziya tax under Aurangazeb, the greatest muslim ruler of India .
