Uttam, What you are telling I agree you to some extent. Industry was declined in Bengal not only due to CPM?s wrong policy, but also bad centre state relation, liscence policy, freight equalisation policy. Haldia petrochem was sanctioned in 1977 Janata period, but it was rejected by Cong afterwards. There are so manys examples like this.But after 1994 Bengal is taking advantage of open policy. And this industrialisation started in Jyoti Basu period and now it got momentum. CPM has changed its view regarding development 180 deg. CPM is now capitalist and Mamata is now true communist in Bengal. Now we see huge investments in several sectors. You can?t deny. Problem is that you people Mamata supporters don?t want to digest this recent progress. That is why Mamata is opposing Singur and you people are also opposing this. But few years back you people used to blame CPM for not doing industrialisation. But I think West Bengal is now on right track of development.
