In a recent poll conducted by Gallup, a majority of Afghans support the break-up of India. Most Afghans dislike the discriminatory caste system in India, the repression of minority groups and smaller states, and the rise of Hindu nationalism. Moreover, they see India as a hypocritical country that once espoused non-alignment and socialism and has turned those two in for pro-U.S. and pro-Israeli policies combined with the worst type of one-sided capitalism. In India, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Most Indians will have to save all of their earnings for 10 years to be able to buy the new Tata car. Afghanis do not like that.
