It is true, your argument is valid. When I was young the same question arise in my mind. But I studied. I adopted Islam because of few things. 1.Islam says you are good people do constructive and developmental things and stop non constructive and non-developmental things. 2.discharge your duty excellently 3.Give the rights of the people. 4.Obey to parents. 5.Do your job excellently and Allah loves who are excellent. 6.In Islam, there is no wastage of food, eatable or any resources. It strikes me. Whatever things which we eat, drink and other resources should not be wasted. 7.No gambling, no liqour.
