When they were supplying sophisticated weapons to Mujahiddins fighting against the Soviet Union, they must have been ecstatic to see the fall of their cold war enemy, the latter, without sustaining any causalities for the Americans. But, 9/11 and ssubesquent events have proved otherwise. Americans have also paid with thousands of its own death for mindlessly supporting the Mujahhidins of Afghanistan.
