Hats off

Nice article! In todays world, when itis all about money, honey, some boys are defying all odds and are joining the armed forces is really heartening.
However, the rookies soon realise that they need money to be gentlemen. And by the time they realise they have lost on something, they have lost everything. I am in contact with half a dozen army officers who want to enter greener pasteurs.
It might also be added, that those joining the army defying their parents, do not do it for money, and there will be some who will join the army only even if the pay scales were to be left at the present levels.
It might also be added that NDA is the youghest competition in India; much tougher than the Civil Services examination, and anyone qualifying for NDA can do vitually anything, like the IAS officers, who have no dirth of opportunity even after they leave Government.
