When IPKF was there in SriLanka, Srilankan administration ditched IPKF and passed on all intelligence info about IPKF to LTTE. The fear of Srilankar GOvt was IPKF would permanently settle down in Srilanka and they can do nothing about it. So they told LTTE,-look any way you can not fight IPKF & Srilankar Army simultaneously! You fight IPKF with our intelligence reports and when IPKF goes out of Lanka, both of us can sort out the matter! That is how IPKF was double crossed and got stabbed in the back by the same administration whom they want to help.
