Lukas, If you look at the political scnario it is easy to explain. If Telegana is separated, Andhra state will never elect congress to power. The Telugudesam is a Kamma caste supported party and they hold power in Andra. Telengana can be congress for a short while but will have their own party or will go to BJP. essentially congress will be wiped out from South except in Kerala, if they divide the State.
