This project is essential to maintain the unity of India. This project will bring about a string of ports on the Tamil coast giving a big boost to the economy. Those who oppose it will be seen by the Tamil people as Anti Tamil. Even if we accept that it is a man made structure, what will be the harm in demolishing 300 metres out of 30,000 metres. Opposition of the project in the name of religion will only support the cause of Tamil separatism. Let us think with our heads and go ahead with development.
