RE:LTTE Militants
by Chelvarajan Sethukavalar on Jan 16, 2008 03:23 PM

The Uva,Sabragamuva and Southern provinces are the strongholds of tHe Sinhala exremist like the JVP. Mamy of these cicilian killings which were quickly blamed on the LTTE, by the Srilankan government were later found to be the work of Sinhla extremists and the Army to provoke and create trouble. The Sri lankan government then is very quiet. The year before bud load of Sinhala civilians were killed in the same manner in Kebbitigollawa in the North Central province. CLose to LTTE controlled Tamil Vanni. The Governmet was quick to blame the LTTE However many international obervers believed it was the work of extremist elements in the Sri Lankan Armed forces to use this as an excuse to provoke violence against the Tamils. The LTTe may have or may no thave done it so lets not jump in to conclusions. The Sri Lakan Government and the extremist Sinhla elements revoked the ceasefire which means they will be looking for an excuse to start full scale hostilites. Killing poor Sinhla civilians in remote villages that are not visible to inernational eyes wil npot serve LTTE"S purpose. If they eant to they wil bomb in an important urban area like Colombo Kandy or Galle which will affect the country's economy and morale. Killin gof Tamil civilians by the SriLankan armed forces is not terrorism to you or to many here. THe LTTe is a guerilla army so what is th eexcuse for the Srilankan govt to commit atrocities against it Tamil citizens. Tomorrow many Tamil will die of ariel bombardment.
