Why do you think the weapons of the west are so advanced, its because of R&D. And do you know how much R&D is still going on in US labs? Lots!
I think all this resentment is because we are aware of the work culture of an goverment organization and DRDO is no exception. So the assumtion is produtive work per day is less than what it can be. So the results are delayed, Costs are high. Privatize and move on. Why give up on R&D. Total dependecne on west is a weakness. Specially when we have so much talent and are trying to be a superpower.
