Okay, several people are saying here that DRDO is not as bad as being made out to be and that they have contributed important things. But even as someone who is sympathetic to the efforts of the DRDO I would like to hear more facts and less allegations and angry reactions about what exactly DRDO has done to make our missile systems credible? Why was the weapons locating radar not built? Why is the DRDO averse to collaborations now that many countries would be willing and considering the success of the BrahMos. The defence of the country is more important than the egos of the DRDO scientists I assume. Please counter with facts the points made by the author. And please leave out a listing of the things that the DRDO has done which dont compare to the large programs such as the IGMD.
