DEAR REDIFF- CORRECTION PLEASE

the award is SIMONE de Beauvoir not SIMON de Beauvoir.
Simon is a male name and Simone is a womans name, this mistake is so ironic as in the whole concept of FEMENISM goes to hell by losing the "E".
