Manmohan's China trip is little else apart from the PMO's desparate gamble to hurreidly cook up some sort of "foreign policy success" and paint this servile and weak PM as some sort of 'statesman' before he is dumped, either by his Italian boss in 10 Janpath, or after the 2009 elections by the electorate. Manmohan and the Congress - in the python grip of the Red snakes - are all too willing to be taken in by China's false smiles, a bit of wining and dining here and there, and of course, China's promises and blatant lies, which has been Beijing's hallmark since the days of Mao and Zhou. Which means that we and our armed forces had better start matching China, and wait for a truly nationalist government. Jaganniwas Iyer
