RE:Cows killed during Ramzan
by ruzo on Jan 14, 2008 08:23 PM

Moron, why bring a religious twist to this? Why can't you guys leave Religion out of anything?
This was an order by the Supreme Court, not by any government, infact if you read the article you will realize that the government is asking for the ban to be lifted , not the contrary and don't you know that Rural tamilnad also has muslims and christians and other religions as well. IMHO ,Torturing an animal is worse that killing it , Killing it for food is way different than torturing something for mere entertainment. Food is a basic need, eating plants is no less cruel than eating meat for it can be argued that plants are living things too.So comparing bull fighting with butchering animals for food is fallacious reasoning. Anytime anybody wants to do something good, there is a group of petty people like you who will argue "did the govt. stop what that religion is practising? THEY are still doing it etc." Dude, good things have to start from somehwere , so set aside pettyism and look for the common good.
