My dear friend - it is not Islamic criminals, it is criminals period. You seen to be of the opinion that these criminals have a religion? Why do you think that way? By that logic, Muslims should start calling all those involved in the Babri Masjid demolition, Hindu jokers/criminals, pandits, etc etc. Where does it end? You must remember that criminality has NO religious sanction - it is the handy work of a twisted set of people who try and justify their acts of cruelty by giving it a religious tinge.

All religions talk of peace and brotherhood and Islam is no different. It is sad that the religious heads and people with vested interests twist it to their convenience. One must not give in so easily to forces that divide the people of this great nation, Hindu or Muslim. And to answer your question as to why no Muslim condemns these fatwas - I don't think you watch television, particularly NDTV or CNN IBN where they have regular debates on these subjects. However, when it comes to collective voice, it is unfortunate that Muslims do NOT have adequete representation in government to have that voice, and modern education to decide between wrong and right. When one goes into the interiors of our great nation, education is still in the hands of religious schools and heads. How then would you expect a human being to have a balanced opinion when the all he or she has had in the name of education is a systematic brain wash - again both Hindu and Muslim.
