We do not need a muslim majority in India. Today, the subcontinent has over 40 crore muslims, so partition was all right, but it should have been a complete one - all Hindus in Hindustan, all muslims in Pakistan.
Now we can wish the pakis a lot of Islam and all that comes with it. The westerners always liked Islam more than Hinduism, and that is valid even today to a good extent. They deserve each other.
