It is wastage of tax payers money to provide Zardari with protection. He has been named co-chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party for carrying on a defunct legacy and to help PPP do more corruption and export Pakistan's money to UK. Assasination is a price to be paid for such wealth and power. Zardari is responsible for his security too. Why waste 1 million pounds when one careless decision from Zardari is enough to get him killed (for instance cheering out of a sun-roof). Maybe one security guard and intelligence reports and limited surveillance is what is required and Pakistan can well afford to fund it.
