The state is no less a terrorist oufit killing innocent civilians for the past 25 years. If not for the LTTE the Tamils would have been wiped out in Srilanka. Though terrorism is bad it is the only option available to the Tamils there as all peaceful means have ceased to exist after the independence of the country in 1948. The LTTE operations started only in 1983.
