Hi Ha ha hi hi,
I am a South Indian, a Tamilian settled in Karnataka. When a dam is built across Ganga or Yamuna no destruction of the river takes place, though environmental effects will be there. That's why in the North too ther wa hue and cry when the Narmada dam was built.
