Dear Dinakar, Even in 1985 Bangalore was not a big city but have you seen todays Bangalore( ofcourse there are problems I accept ) Also, In Karnataka we have Mysore, Mangalore, Hubli-Dharwad. And TN has Chennai, Coimbatore, Tripur, Salem etc it is not that only MH has improved Tier-2 cities. And I totally agree that MH is what it is today because of patriotic and peace loving marathis.
