migrants to Mumbai
by A K on Jan 05, 2008 11:50 PM

After a long time the Sena has said the right thing. It's an absolute fact that North India lacks culture, lawlessness, lack of respect for and crime against women, corruption to huge proportions, lack of civic sense, lack of traffic sense, lack of respect to fellow citizens and so many. And such a population migrating to Mumbai is creating all the lawlessness and crime. Crime and North India are synonymous. Take a look at all autorickshaws and the way they disrupt traffic, take a look at all taxi fellows, their meters are always rigged especially those at Dadar TT station. You can never trust them. We could never see anyone breaking the line for auto and taxis in Mumbai especially at the airports. So also never any taxi or auto driver dared to demand extra than the meter fare and now each time we get into arguments. Take a look at the various Toll plazas to Mumbai. Those towards the North, Dahisar and even Ghodbunder and the traffic beyond is a mess. While those towards the east are so much better managed including the planning of ticket booths towards the driver. Despite heavy traffic, all such Nakas towards the east like Vashi, Airoli, Mulund are much better managed. Anything from the North and located towards the North is a problem. As compared to this Maharashtra and South Indian states are much better organised with God fearing persons. But all said and done what are all the local Marathi leaders doing ? They, including the Sena are busy wooing the North Indian vote ban
