There are good migrants and there are bad migrants. I think Mumbai must be seen to attract the educated elite from the rest of the country who have contributed a lot to the city , the artists and other creative people. Of late, a lot of riff raffs have become too dominant in the city who were earlier kept in check as they were not a large percentage of Bombay's population. The local Maharashtrian population is by and large cultured and has believed in live and let live philosophy so far. I wonder how long this tolerance will last.
