NO Hindi is a pure language in it's own right and is derived from Sanskrit, a language native to India. The mix of Urdu, Afghani, Persian, Arabic etc. is HINDUSTANI. That is why that language is called Hindustani and not HINDI. Of course the common man is unaware of this and thinks what he's actually speaking daily is Hindi. And that is incorrect. What he's speaking is Hindustani. So NO, Hindi is NOT half foreign, Hindustani is. Get your facts right before posting please, as people can be mis-informed.
