Police must function under the direction of the CJ of the state, assisted by a committee with the state HM as secy. They should maintain order as per law [politicians should stop with maqking laws in assemblies]. Ministers must be basically very good people whom no onhe will wantb ton hurt. IN EU states, PMs go to office on bicycles, alone! If politicos need protection for themselves and their families, they should arrange and pay for it themselves. Police should prevent crime, protect public, especially women and children.
