I wonder whether u hv seen the serial INDUS VALLEY TO INDIRA GANDHI produced by Govt. of India. This serial narrates the story of India's journey through thousands of years. Significantly, while describing events of post-independence India, the serial almost apologetically states the the Govt. put in more resources in already developed for better returns withing a short time with a view to generate more resources which could be used elsewhere. This is what resulted in regional imbalance and backwardness of the region u refer to as BIMARU. But for such skewed distribution of resources, cities like Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai would have been truly BIMAR and there would have been no BIMARU region in India. I am not saying what the Govt. did was wrong. All I want to tell u is that u shd know things before condescending. Do not get carried away by what Raj says. He is either a stupid uneducated brat or is an irresponsible leader seeking to garner votes at ALL COSTS.
