I dont care. People like you talk temples , mosques etc are root of all "Evil" (Riots), but do not realize it is ppl like you who make them issues by such cheap stunts (like idea of demolishing Ram Setus). If now its temple, tomorrow it will be a play ground, another day its going to be aur you breathe. Ppl dont need a cause for violence, they just find some. But having these wonderful ideas like demolishing Ram Sethu will raise the water too high, but i guess you dont care..
Anyway, Rama was first mentioned in Vedas, then in Valmiki's Ramayan, Vishnu Puran, Vaayu Puran. Valmiki Ramayana is dated variously from 500 BC to 100 BC
