americans, rediff and the kitty hawk
by sankar narayanan on Feb 28, 2008 05:16 PM

now a days it has become a fashion to support america, its causes and reasons in India--at the cost of its traditional and time tested friends--than on the merit of the things in view. The Admiral Gorshkov purchse is by now a closed deal and there is nothing in the present world compelling us to reopen it in the negative. Moreover, we know russians and they know us and nobody or anything in this world have to teach about the good or bad and they would do good only when they are seen not coming in between us. Not only that, going with Americans would be equal to dragging India back to a minimum of 20years from the present level itself. The countries like Iraq, Afghanistan and even Pakistan to say less about the present Japan would be enough to see the result of toying and coying with America and Americans.
