I agree with you- my theory is that they act like that because they\'ve lost their identity and the attachness their forefathers who they betrayed by converting. A European converetd to Christianity but remain a European. A chinese adopted buddhism or Chritianity but remained esssentially chinese to the core. The Iranian got defeated in a battle between the persian empire and the Arabs- the consequence of this defeat was their conversion. Basically theire conversion is a reminder to them and their future generation of this defeat-from which the Persian empire never recovered to become the civilization it was was once. Basically if you loose your identity and who you are and what your ancestor was - you going to invent a golden past and an identity for yourself. Thats what we are seeing with muslim everywhere.
