hinduism
by sugata chatterjee on Feb 25, 2008 07:56 PM

many a elite people ask what is hinduism. hinduism is what is captured in the vedas, vedantas, upanishads and bhagbatgeeta. go thru swami vivekananda's speech in world parliament of religions in chicago on 09/11/1893. you will know what hinduism is. lord ram, lord krishna are the prophets of hinduism. hinduism talks of a "nirakar" brahma and hinduism does not say god, the almighty, the creator of the whole cosmos, can not be there and it has to be here. hinduism says god of the entire universe resides in the brain and heart of any individual. hinduism honours every path that leads a mortal to divinity, no matter what the method be, except fanatic violence.
