While I am inclined to agree with Mr Raj Thakaray about his views on "outsiders" blending with the Maharashtrian Culture his way of going about it is unacceptable in a democratic secular set up as ours. Constitution is paramount and no Indian should tinker with the word and spirit of it. The whole problem is even after decades of Independence we have not begun thinking in terms of being an Indian first and last. The spirit of Nationalism has not caught on. Mr Thakeray and ilk should set himself up as an Icon of the youth and draw the youth (the future of the country) towards this way of thinking. Otherwise I am afraid to imagine what is in store for this lovely Country.It is about time the politicians both at the Centre and State levels be catagotical on this matter. Rajaram
