brother.. gandhi or SC Bose or any other human being who fought for rights of people to live free did not keep religion in front. wht i mean to say is you don't need any religion's teaching to bring peace. humans are social beings and they can think. we know what is right and wht is wrong.
if you review this whole discussion, it is running pages becoz the topic is RELIGION. religion never earns bread for us.. religion never gies shelter.. insted it takes it away(partition is the proof).
i never mean to hurt religious feelings of someone. what i mean here is religion is a practice, it teaches discipline. but it is not the only thing which teaches discipline. i am from a school which is under defence ministry establishment. i have discipline in my life. i do my job, give out my thoughts for development of my institution, country etc.. but for many people religion is jsut a belif. so do you mean to say they are not happy.. in deed they are he happiest ones.
religion teaches discipline. when it hurting the very root of humanity, then where is discipline in those teachings. your last few lines were correct.
