Interesting thought. Just want to know one thing, is it voluntary or is it the state policy? If voluntary, then its a great thing but in countries (especially China) the government decides what the people should do. Religion is a very personal thing and it would be depriving one of his basic human right.
I personally feel that religion is not the problem but the inabilty to respect other's religion is the real root of the problem. Politicans also dont help..........
Btw great to have thought provoking posts like urs on rediff....unfortunately most of the posts here are hate-mails.
