Dear aryanraj, though I am a Malaylaee I do not live in Kerala. To the best of my knowledge there is still considerable goodwill among the people belonging to various religions in Kerala due to better education and improvement in the standard of living.
There was some blackmailing of the elected Govts of Congress and Marxist lead coalitions by the Muslim League and Kerala congress (mainly comprising of Christians of Travancore) till a few years back but that has come to an end by the principled stand taken by the left fron led by the late Mr. E.K. Nayanar.
All types of religious fundamentalism (whether minority kind or majority kind) will only lead to disharmony in the Society. We also would be in the same condition as Afghanistan is today if we follow the narrow communal agenda!
