A muslim is right from his childhood brainwashed into believing that he belongs to Islamic Ummah or Islamic World Order. So the question of their accepting Indian ancestory though true does not arise. They are obliged to be loyal to muslim countries even if there is a fight between India and an Islamic country. All they can do being in the minority is to pretend that they disapprove the enemy (muslim) country's attack against India.
