As others have correctly noticed that Congress doesn't care as to what happens to UP/Bihar people in Maharashtra. The reason is quite easy to understand: Congress as a political force finished longtime back in UP/Bihar. They hardly win any seats in the elections there. While in Maharashtra, it is still the most powerful political party. So they are not going to endanger their Marathi Maanoos vote to support a people (read UPites/Biharis) who don't even vote for them. So, we UP/Bihar people should not count on any support from congress on this issue.
