That's because of the resistance shown by Hindus and the power of Hinduism. Who said Mughal rule of absolute? They had to take help of Hindu kings from time to time. Whenever & wherever Muslim rule was absolute, they converted the whole population. Are there any original parsis living in Iran now? Were all the ppl in Afganistan, Pakistan & Bangladesh Muslims before they were converted by force or by bribe? What happened to the original cultures of Malaysia & Indonesia?
The fact that we have so many Muslims in India now is because of the Muslim rule. By any chance, do you mean, the forefathers of the muslims in India voluntarily taken up Islam without force or incentive? Ha Ha Ha...
