While hinduism states that god is in everything, sciebtifically if we state that atoms together with sub atomic particles are what makes the universe and hence we call it god (we living beings are highly complex molecular compounds made of basic atoms only), therefore everything present in this universe is god - everything is god.
Whereas there is a degradation of this thought in islam which states that everything belongs to god, thereby giving a materialistic "landlord" status to god and as if we are not part of him but his tenents.
