In the battelfield when Muslims are fighting against a treachourous enemey , what kind of a revelation should come from GOD? Are you expecting a verse like Kiss the unbelivers..Hug them...bow before them..express your love... If you cite a verse outof context this is what it will lead you.. For example, without context all Muslims hould have killed the rest of the unbelivers that day itself or they themselves should have got killed when doing so..is in it. the fact this doesnt happen itself tells you, you are gravely wrong
