Tipu Sultan (one of the real patriot ever born)was fighting against Britishers and requested support from marathas. He was denied on the grounds as he was a non-maratha. I respect marathas role in the freedom fighting, but we could have been free in the regime of Tipu Sultan, had he been extended support. And Mumbai, Film industry; can you tell me what is the role of marathis. Major industrialists in the city are either Gujarati or Rajasthani and same is film industry, flooded with punjabis and bengalis. Why your great marathi leaders ask them to leave. I tell you why, if they shift from Mumbai, there will be nothing left in Mumbai.
