Don...I think u need to get ur history knowledge corrected...Panipat was lost because North Indian Kings/Nawabs helped Afgan evader...instead of helping Marathas...Marathas won Delhi but left it as they were not intersted in it..And as far as help to Tipu goes...it was a lone example...and no one in Maharashtra even knows that king(peshwa)...I am sure there're thousands of traiters in India...btw..I have my own reservations about Tipu's history.
