Maharashtra is the only state where octroi is applicable,(Only ethopia other than maharashtra in the whole world collect octroi)... Many new industrial estates are coming up in north like baddi and as JGN as mentioned in roorkee(for eg asahi glass new plant is also in rourkee ...stopped its operation in asahi taloja panvel).... they are giving lot of SOP to new units,land at cheap price,tax benefits,NO OCTROI, ...while in maharashtra taxes are high,octroi mandatory...now even labour is a problem.... nasik go back to your original activity... start farming/agriculture...
