RE:Pakistan Needs Revolution...Not Elections
by Krishanu Majumdar on Feb 19, 2008 04:07 PM

Hi

I should first say that I am an Indian who is from a Hindu family with income just above the basic requirement to live in Calcutta. I mean we can somehow manage to make both ends meat. I am just giving you an idea of my back ground. I am not being communal. Now to answer the above question.

I have seriously never met a Muslim who has ever visited a Madrasa. I have met who have never tried to study. Who went on to become Auto drivers and even household helps but not one of them in my knowledge has gone to a Madrasa.

I feel it is the initial brainwashing that is done in the training cams that guides the kids towards the Madrasa's where fascism is taught instead of religion. It is a failure of the system and people taking advantage of the adaptability of the young minds for personal profit.

Just take Bin Laden for example. Where is he - no one knows. His family is one of the richest families in Saudi Arabia. He has all the money and luxury in the world. He is enjoying his time and those stupid young kids are the ones suffering.

These guys enjoy the misinterpretation of the law. As for Pakistan let%u2019s hope they turn a new leaf and reach a strong socio economic situation as soon as possible as such terrorist activities are never welcome in any part of the world.
