marathis, marwaris, gujratis, bengalis, punjabis, oriyas, keralites, tamilians etc. are scattered all over the country outside their own states also. There is a simple rule that people have been migrating, where ever there r more opportunities. The local people have to compete with the outsiders, who r generally more aggressive. Noone can stop any indian from working anywhere in the country. moreove calling 'biharis and up walls' as north indians is wrong. punjabi, hariyanwi, kashmiri, himachali, rajasthani (partly) all r north indians. biharis r in fact east indians.
we indians r even working in various foreign countries like usa, uk, germany, australia, saudi arabia, kenya etc. So how can anyone say that biharis and up walas will not b allowed to work in mumbai? yes, these outsiders should try to mix with the local population. There is an old saying 'live in rome like romans'. moreover biharis and up wallas r mostly in low paid jobs, i.e. they r also poor and middle class people. they deserve sympathy rather than hatred.
Main problem of the country is population explosion, which is eating into all the development as well as is partly responsible for global warming, which will affect everyone, irrespective of caste or region. Hence one child norm must b forcefully enforced, as in china.
