i feel in the short term it will solve our energy problem but in the long term we should have our own new reactors using thorium as the fuel. we cannot depend upon others for uranium. for eg if India conducts pokhran 3 i am sure India will be denied nuclear fuel (economic sanctions)...so what is the point of making such a big spending on the infrastructure now ?
