So it okay Mr Patil if more and more people, who have no place to stay, pour in, urinate, deficate, beg, borrow & steal to merely sleep on our footpaths, railway platforms, bus stands, mess up our beaches, burden the infrastucture that is keeling over with their combined weight, as they to keep flowing in like the steadily overflowing gutters of the slumbai you lovingly call your Mumbai ?
Mumbai was built by the people of the country but there is a limit to how much influx it can bear. You don't provide them dharamshalas or dak bunglows or even hostel facilities nor do you put checks on those dadas that 'bring' them in?
Can you not have any controls or quotas that will show that that you really care for them?
Have you seen the "eight-to-ten-to-a-small- kholi" living conditions that have stay and occupy, once regularised, without the slightest semblence of sanitation ?
Why does your government legalise their juggi- jhopdis every time before the elections ?
Are they not your vote bank ?
If you want them so much why don't you take them home to Baramati, settle them there and give them a fair-wage to do your bidding ?
Get real man, Patil ! Wgen will you show us that you are the pocket-sized power-house you purport to be ?
Or are you still going to just pontificate when the Thackerays snap a fuse or two again and start to wantonly vandalise all of them, and us taxpayers too, and even stone some of their "own" to death ?
